Meet Pastor Chuck Smith

BIOGRAPHICAL ON CHUCK SMITH

Chuck graduated from Baptist Bible College in 1961 and moved to Hot Springs, AR to work on staff. In 1962, he and Betty moved back to the Cincinnati area and worked in First Baptist (Milford, Ohio). He was called to pastor Bible Baptist (Sardinia, Ohio) until the end of 1965. He accepted the call to pastor Fort Wayne Baptist Temple (Fort Wayne, IN). During his 38 years there, they relocated and built 3 buildings. For 15 years, he was the administrator of Colonial Christian School. He served with the Indiana Association of Christian Schools and was very active in leadership of Pastors and ministry leaders throughout the State.

In 2003, he retired from pastoring and focused on churches that without a Pastor or that needed strong leadership for a short time. He and Betty moved to Florida in 2004, and they have been active in ministry. In May 2010, Fellowship Baptist asked him to be Interim Pastor and then called him as Pastor in February 2011.

He is a certified counselor with NANC and remains active working with Pastors and ministry personnel.
